These pages are dedicated to the horses who are born to race and who have given their lives on the course or have died in other circumstances. I believe that it is important to remember all of them. Many racing fans follow individual horses, we all respect what they give to us and we care about them and want to know what has happened to them.

This is a testimonial to all of them, from the famous and universally popular right down to the grass roots of the game. It is intended to be a genuine and respectful tribute to those horses named. Each and every one deserves to be remembered.

NEW SECTION PROPOSED - Tributes

I will need help with this section if it is to get going, but I am planning a section on the site for individual, more in-depth tributes to certain horses.

If you owned or looked after a racehorse, or if you have special memories of a particular horse, especially if you have photographs, please let me have your pictures and stories of their life and what they meant to you, and I will set up new pages just for them.

I would love to see some information here about less well-known horses, not just the famous ones who we all remember.

Please let me know if you have a special friend who is no longer with us, who you would like to be featured on the site.

SITE NOW UPDATED.  Sorry for long delays, I so rarely have the time to undertake such a large job and the longer I leave it the bigger it gets, sadly.
I will be sifting through the Message Board soon to make sure all the horses mentioned there are included on the main site, I will then be removing some of the oldest posts on there to make it load faster.
Please do contact me if you have any more information that I have missed, or in particular if you have any photographs to donate (you must have the copyright or the photographer's permission, of course!).
